Donating my old car to charity can really have an impact on the lives of others. Donating my old car that I never use anymore doesn’t really mean much to me. After all, grass is growing under it and it really is just in the way and a pain in my rear. Heck, I’ll be glad to donate it.I also know that although it doesn’t mean much to me, it means the world to someone else. Whoever is on the receiving end, would really beg to differ that it doesn’t mean much.
And hey I get a tax deduction when donating my old car and someone comes and takes it right off of my hands. It’s pretty much no work at all for me, other than a phone call to a car donation center. They take my old car off of my hands and the whole process is pretty simple. Actually all I have to do is:
How could I lose? I not only get the car out of my way, I help someone in need. I help someone like:
You know, in most cases I can even pick which charitable organization or nonprofit organization the proceeds of the sale from donating my old car benefits.
Again, it’s a win-win situation for me and others. I get it out of my way, those in needs get a much needed car, and I get a tax deduction. How cool is that?

Even if my car doesn’t run anymore I can still donate it. It can be sold as scrap and the money can still help those in need. It’s just a no-brainer. As a matter of fact, I’m making that phone call and pledging my car right now.

- Wash my hands of the car. Once it is picked up it is no longer my responsibility.The car donation center or the nonprofit organization will arrange for the sell of the car and strive to get the most money for it.
- Know that the distribution of the proceeds from me donating my old car will be given to a worthy charity or nonprofit that will ensure the money benefits and improves the lives of others.

- Low-income single parent families
- At-risk teens
- People getting back into the work force
- Terminally ill patients that need to easily get back and forth to the doctor
